I visited Marrakech back in March, i stayed at the Savoy Le Grand Marrakech hotel which was amazing. It was around 20 minutes walk to the Medina - or a 5 minute taxi ride!

The hotel was situated next to a shopping centre, and a couple of restuarants which was handy!

We had booked a private transfer from the airport, this took us around 10 minutes from the airport to the hotel which was perfect!

 

Where to eat in Marrakech -

• •La Trattoria, if you like Italian food, this is the resturant for you!  This is one of the most amazing restuarants i have ever been to. There is a Riad in the middle of the restuarant, and the tables are situated all around it. In the evening the restuarant is complelty candelit, and if you look up, you can see the stars through the glass roof! 
• •Aqua, this pizzeria is situated on the Jemaa el-Fnaa Square, i would recommend going upstairs for the best views of the square.
• .•Cafe Arabe, another Italian restuarant! However this is situated in the Medina, a perfect location to eat after an afternoon of shopping in the Souks

• •Stroll through the Souks, and try some local food
• •Visit Bahia Palace
• •Visit El Badi Palace
• •Go for a Camel Ride in the Desert 
• •Take a trip to the Ouzour Waterfalls
